Public Safety will be in the Library Commons on the following days to offer laptop registration for students at the UD:
October 7, 2009 (Wed): 7-10 p.m.
October 13, 2009 (Tues): 9 p.m. – Midnight
October 14, 2009 (Wed): 4-7 p.m.
When a laptop is registered, information such as the serial number for the laptop will be added to a national database. In the case of a stolen laptop being recovered, the police can look up the information on the database and return the laptop to the owner.
